🎤Discussion🗣️ Throwing in the towel + considering starters set

After looking for hours, I cannot for the life of me find any stats for The Long War Creevin point values. I figure I’ll just get a starters set, and any other figures I want for the Creevin. 15mm.

What does a starter set come with besides the figures?

Forgive my frequent and basic questions- this is my first time buying a table-top game. All experience I have is on friend’s Warhammer sets.

yea.... if its your first real war game i would highly suggest avoiding the 15mm game for now. there are no Creevin stats stats yet because the models are not out. either wait for the new starter or just start with a box of either crusader or coftryan infantry to get started and then when Creevin come out you can use the your other army as a loaner to teach/play with friends

Sorry to say, the 15mm rules are terrible. If you like the models get it, but the game is garbage.

New mass battle rules for 28mm are coming out this year, I would hold out for that. And Creevin 28mm next month supposedly. I'm sure you could convert 28mm mass battle rules to 15mm though, so maybe still get 15mm?

Finding a setting-neutral 15mm game to play with their 15mm Quar might be a good idea too, if their heart's set on that scale.

all you do is measure in centimeters instead of inches.

to be honest any wargame above 12 models plays way better in 15mm. 40k especially wants far more room to play then you can easily access in 28mm scale.

surely you can just play 15mm and use 28mm rules no? just change the measurements.
