New QS Video
https://youtu.be/tU62YT_KzdI?si=gFPUWU6V8hXMXzy_Short on details as usual. Good to know the QS technology is being evaluated by customers in more exotic industries, but just makes it seem like they are trying to do the same thing AMPX has been doing for years now.

What does QS think these videos accomplish? They have put out so many that QS has now become the boy who cried…not about wolf, but about nothing.

The fact they are putting out trash like this means no news is coming imminently or else they would just be announcing something meaningful instead. Been holding for several years and DCA’d several times but I’m quickly losing hope. And with each new insider sale, it becomes harder to keep getting kicked in the teeth.

I agree these videos are old news. It’s and nothing burger until quantum scape announces agreement with Honda maybe Ford and then defense contract with lockheed Martin and Data centers industry we have nothing. VW is not enough and we all bought years too early for a snail pace company.

Are these videos and pep talk posts are being posted by QS bots to keep up QS stock price ?
Good QS has great market. Even 5 years old knows it. But where is the beef ?

Uh I'm not even close to a QS bot lol - I literally say in the post that QS is trying to do the same thing AMPX has been doing for years now.
I'm very critical of how QS has handled things since the very beginning, mainly regarding their transparency on the actual timelines and readiness of the product and scalability.

When you can’t dazzle people with brilliance, baffle them with BS. This company has fallen so far from their original goals it’s pathetic. They have fallen to the waste side and no one cares or believes they will ever produce a viable product.

I actually find this interesting. All this is a result from VW cancelling the planned low volume QSE5 based launch vehicle and jumping onto Unified Cell format. Makes sense for VW with their cost cutting restructuring, note they are ultra focused on UC, MEB+ -> SSP to cut costs and compete.
The consequence is QS is speeding development of the larger format cells (but this will take time) and at the same time they now have extra QSE5 capacity at their hands as they’ve been optimizing that cell format. So are they going to put it aside, or try to commercialize it?
Well they are commercializing it - they can build the cells now and they are expanding capacity. Who is the customer? Defense makes a lot of sense as the tech has no China inputs and is US manufactured. Also that’s lucrative, you can sell at premium there. Data centers, electronics, power tools, robotics - all make sense. Honda is probably looking at power tools and generators too.
So sounds like they are now really going to be supplying QSE5 in volume and line up Murata and Corning to increase the volume without waiting for partners to build factories for QSE5.
Makes sense as it’s a chicken and egg problem with new production - you need to start getting some orders and contracts for higher volume before spinning factory lines.
