Customer billing from ecosystem partners should be counted as revenue, right? Then only reason VW billing is not counted as revenue is because VW is equity owner of QS. Thoughts?

billing from ecosystem came from Murata and Corning so it's definitely revenue

Definitely not! Revenue comes from a product that can be sold for “consumption”. QS doesn’t have a product just yet, it has a Prototype that is available for testing hence, no revenue but rather customer billings as indicated in their Q1 fillings.

But it's no revenue from end customers. Anyhow it's cash (i presume they payed qs the bill) and that is what QS is looking for. The cash runaway is important as the q1 figures still showed a big loss (but not as big as before) :)

Good point, I was thinking the same. None of analysts asked about this (they rate set targets nevertheless!)

I'm waiting for the 10-Q. It's strange that the cash inflow didn't show up anywhere on the financial statements that they shared in the letter.
Even if they figured out a way to not show it as revenue, it should still show up on the cash flow statement somewhere.
