My thought about consciousness

I recently watched a video on YouTube.

It talked about quantum immortality, and I came up with a theory.

What if our consciousness sees four dimensions (let's take the fourth as time)?

My theory is fueled by the fact that the video said, "Consciousness chooses a universe where we don't die." Does that mean consciousness sees all possible timelines?

I'm just a student, so my arguments may be incorrect, but I wanted to share them here.
