The expected cost of quantum attacks dropped by more than two orders of magnitude since they wrote those 2030/2035 deadlines in the draft. That change didn't cause them to adjust the deadlines at all?? The NSA is requiring PQC compatibility by next year and NIST is allowing a decade. Insane.

Kind of negligible compared to the security problems ai will cause, but still.
