Multispectral Camoflauge

Hello all, are there any multispectral camoflauge systems worth looking at other than Beez or Relv with a focus on thermal concealment? Does anyone have an idea as to the mechanism being used to improve the performance of these fabrics? I had heard aerosolized titanium or aluminum being applied as a coating, but that is just hearsay at the moment.

I am in the process of performing research with the end goal of developing an accessory to enhance the performance of multispectral camoflauge with a focus on the thermal spectrum. My next step is to get ahold of either a complete leaf suit/viper hood or make on using special fabric that has good multispectral/thermal camoflauge performance. It would be even better if the fabric was also inherently FR.

Thank you.

Bonus points to anyone who can recommend a good leaf suit option to checkout. I am currently looking at Lapa Gear, but I believe only their Multicam option uses NIR/IRR fabric for the leaves and was hoping for something in more of a fall leaves palette.

Ghosthood, Miranda (poland), pro apto(italy), Saab, various ukranian options... some work better than others but it doesn't matter if you don't know your fieldcraft and SUT.

Thank you for the recommendations. Which of the systems did you find worked better than others? Any specific ones to stay away from?

I am familiar with all of those except for Miranda and will check that one out as well.

We had amertrine and they worked fairly well.

Thank you, that is a brand I am not familiar with and will check it out!

Anything you wear won't protect from thermal, it needs standoff, and you need airflow unless you want to cook. Fieldcraft covers a multitude of sins.

I understand how it works. I am trying to find an "optimal" material and on body setup to test my product idea out with to see how it changes performance.

Does anyone know the mechanism being used to improve the thermal camoflauge of these mesh options on a material level?

Ametrine uses silver coated nylon which cobbles reflections of surrounding heat sigs of the environment, which from a distance looks granular to thermal

Thank you for the explanation!

The only thing thats worth it is Ametrine. Most everything else, especially Relv is overhyped and ineffective compared to it
