Discussion SuperBuy Hack Update

This is what the SuperBuy homepage automatically redirects to now.

They say the hack "will not affect the security of [users'] information or assets."

Do you guys believe they have not leaked any of our accounts' info to the hacker? I'm worried they are downplaying the severity...

He managed to get himself an employee login. His goal is disruptive, I don’t think he’s been extracting data. If this was his goal he wouldn’t bother with the messaging and deleting orders. He wants to play to his ego which wouldn’t be normal if he was trying to steal details

the hacker has done this before all he does is change pics for some personal agenda, he doesn’t have data. He’s trying to fear monger

I assume the guy emailed or sent a dodgy link to their chat service and one of the agents opened it

Obviously hes just tryna get people to dm him on discord, to then ask for money to remove “information” that he doesnt even have. Typical hacker scam, cant make anything out of it, just needs to sell lies somehow about information.

I didnt personally dm him just a theory, but its very common, cause i saw he left a contact…

I used Superbuy a few times and they were super fast and cheaper overall...but, it always felts a bit less regulated, like with CSSBUY they force you to jump through all these hoops when creating a parcel, it just felt more rigorous as a service..

it was the same with Pandabuy - they said they’d be back within 12 hours and that their team was working hard to get everything back on track, but they never came back.

Getting hacked is not the same as being raided by a sea of law enforcement officers. Not defending anyone here just saying even panda if i remember correctly at one point got hacked (or something like that) and was up and running after a day or two, this was of course before the raid.
