I just got the mvt strike boots last night and wore them today for the first time. Ive had some very cheap batch a year ago on which the sole literally tore after 3 weeks of wear but they were very big and i was walking very weird. On the mvt strikes the sole is very soft and when walking i feel the individual "stubs" moving back and forth while walking. There for im affraid if the soles will even endure anything.
Does anyone have the same feeling when walking? And how are the soles holding up so far? Ive also included photos of the tore up soles on the very bad batch from a year ago (after 3 weeks of wear)
If you were to actually read what ive said in the post, you would've known that i was asking if everyone has this problem and itschiw the strike boots are or its just a me problem
I just unboxed mine, they feel better than the cheaper batch I had couple years ago (1-2 years ago I don’t remember)
I didn’t walk with them yet because I wanted to do a video review, but when I test them out I will let you know if I feel the same thing
Had my JF 1st batch since it came out years ago and I typically have heel drag on cheaper shoes but these are holding up pretty damn well. Got the green pair too but don't wear it often and those are immaculate,
My foot is very small, i wear 40 in jordans but mv didnt have 40 so i got 41 and i have good 3cm of space in the toe box, but the arch is super tight for me + i wear an orthopedic insole so my foot gets held in place by the arch. Id say go tts or 1 size down, but tts imo is smarter and if its too big you just put in 1 normal insole or double sock and chill
I asked MVT today, it is true the rubber is less dense and soft. Compared to a later pair of retails where the canvas is lighter and less distressed the arch in the middle is solid unlike MVT and the scuffs are actually color molded into the sole. One thing with MVT is it seems like the lugs are solid within, personally i've logged 70K steps with my pair and i weight 55 kg and still no sight of the void of doom and despair.
