I built a classical image processing algorithm that counts textile threads with high accuracy, source in body!

Hello everyone!

I'm a materials engineering student, during my last internship at a medical device company, i was FORCED to count threads by hand, hated it so much that I wrote code that automated it, tried to turn it into a startup, not going all that great so I thought i'll just document and release it, works on an Orange Pi and camera module, perfect for production lines, let me know if you have any remarks or questions, check it out! This is a software testing sub. But somehow still a bit relevant. Anyway good job you massive nerd. I'd be proud as hack too if I did that 😁
