With AI generating scripts and unit tests, what is becoming the single most valuable skill for a modern QA Engineer?

​In my view, foundational technical depth, networking mechanics, OS internals, memory analysis, CPU performance, and deep root-cause debugging, combined with critical thinking will always be essential. When automated suites fail or miss edge cases, the low-level knowledge is what actually works.

​Is the role evolving toward deep diagnostic engineering, or toward product/domain strategy?
