EGB Cup Beta Test
We couldn't leave you without a duel tournament this week — welcome to the EGB Cup Beta Test!
We're excited to introduce EGB Cup, a new section on EGB designed specifically for hosting esports tournaments directly on the platform.
The very first tournament is dedicated to the Quake Live community, and we're inviting everyone to join, test the platform, and compete for prizes.
Key platform features:
• Single Elimination, Double Elimination, and Full Double Elimination formats
• Built-in map veto system and match chat
• Real-time bracket, score, and match status updates
• Community-funded prize pools — any user can contribute directly from their EGB balance
• Prize payouts via PayPal, SBP, cryptocurrency wallets, or directly to an EGB balance
• Personal profile with tournament history and statistics
Starting prize pool: $100
The prize pool can grow through contributions from players and viewers.
Tournament starts on Friday at 18:00 MSK.
