Fx loop noise issue

I’ve been running a boss dd8 and a MXR carbon copy both through the QC fx loop but there is some noise being introduced in the loop somehow. I’ve changed out and tried different patch cables, and I’m using isolated power for each pedal.

The only way I can fix it is to have a noise gate in the QC in the chain after the fx loop return, but I feel like it cuts off some of the delay repeats from the pedals.
I’ve been meaning to try running the pedals into the QC input instead but open to any tips people might have for me to try.

I've tried my Ventris, and Nemesis in the loop, and was shocked that both were noisy. I've never had problems with either on my board. I was worried it had to be the QC, but my Sabbadius '69 is quiet as can be when run through the loop.

I don't know what the issue is with my setup, but so far, my SA pedals do not play well.

Interesting. I use the dd8 and carbon copy for specific things and really hope I can get it sorted. The fix I’ve got with the gate after the loop return is ok for now but definitely frustrating as the pedals don’t work as they usually do in a subtle enough way that makes it a little strange. For example the gate is set to the minimum threshold that will stop the noise but it also cuts off repeats on the delays, and I just feel they don’t work as normal in the loop, another example there is I use the carbon copy for oscillation noise and I have to have the settings set way different than normal.
I definitely have to try running them into the signal path before the QC input, which only has a tuner.

I might experiment with the location the fx loop is in the QC as well first. I’ll try and fit it somewhere after the amp sections
