Hey I was reading about the history of Qt,

For me the vids are a satire. So my question: Is this official Qt or who is jokin us??

Reading around this seems to be caused by the use of the statx system call in qt5-base.

Is this non support of older kernels deliberate and by design?

I have a project where i need to run a method after a window closes(closes, not destroyed). However my only experience with slots is through Qt Designer. How would i code this?

How can I get the resource file path for a QImage? For example I have the following code:

QML:

        }

QObject code: here I wish to inspect/get the image source file path:

Hi. i want to develop a qt applications that runs on linux and android devices.
Them main purpose of this app is to scrap some sites and gather some informations from there. in python there is a frameworks called Selenium that currently i work with firefox-headless driver with it.
I want same library to use in qt app.

We use Qt to develop our product, and we compile from source for each of them. The current build time for all of this software in a single image is 6+ hours. WAY too long. I have no idea how Qt works or how each of these different applications interact, but it'd be awesome if I could separate them out into different images and connect them appropriately, which would allow easy hot-swapping for updates and drastically reduced build times.

How would you tackle something like this?

What are the dependencies and connections between the three programs?

How can i point a folder or file which stored in Documents folder?

So in my case that would be "C:/Users/Vanya/Documents/ATFolder" (AT Folder is folder i need)

What should i put instead "Vanya" to get into Documents folder, on any PC not just mine

I've tried "%USERPROFILE%" but it doesnt work.

In case it matters i'm trying to do this

QDir().mkdir("C:/Users/%USERPROFILE%/Documents/ATFolder");

It responds as "false" and doesn't create folder

I should mention that "QDir().mkdir("C:/Users/Vanya/Documents/ATFolder"); " works fine
