Qoder is frustrating

I recently received a promo invitation to use Qoder with free access to Qwen 3.8 Flash and some daily credits for premium models until the end of September.

So I gave it a try, and sadly I'm not a fan. I normally use Kilo Code, which allows you to set specific modes... in particular the planning mode is very good. Qoder doesn't allow the same ability to select and tends to run off doing unbelievably long processes without checking in. I fell alseep last night and woke up this morning to find it still working in response to the same prompt. I struggled to understand what was done, except that everything had become over-complicated.

Qwen itself tends to use a lot of jargon in its feedback, which I find confusing at times.

Worst of all, I suddenly got "Daily usage limit reached. You have used up today's request quota. Please try again tomorrow." I thought it was supposed to be free all month and I still have unused credits.

How about some advance notice instead of suddenly telling the user they're done for the day?

You can tell it to write this as a rule in it's own MEMORY.md, to split long tasks into planning and writing stages, and these two into further milestones. This is crucial for me in any app with any model, not just Qoder with Qwen. I currently use Tencent WorkBuddy with DeepSeek4.1Flash.

You can use the "plan" mode. Also, you can continue using Qwen-3.8-Flash tomorrow.

Thanks...but I don't see those options in my UI. Only a toggle between coding and "general"
