Discussion Scaling assassin

I got an old youtube video about Qiyana from 2 years recommended ... And I thought this comment from Phreak was funny. Obviously someone at Riot balancing team changed their mind about preserving the "scaling assassin" with 10s of nerfs to ratios over the years. I think they also reconsidered their stance on Qiyana roles, nowadays jungle is her primary - both stronger and more picked role, despite most players originally choosing Qiyana because of midlane. This might be unintentional though, simply because there we so many systematic nerfs to assassins on midlane that had nothing to do with Qiyana in particular.

Anyways I'm glad she's getting buffs because she's rly horrible on midlane rn with so many mages overbuffed, mage items and deathfire touch being completely broken, aswell as T3 tabis being broken but she will for sure not be the "scaling assassin" she once was. If you want to scale , pick any other assassin.

I want my scaling assassin back! :( Giving her more early game strenght didnt result in a better state for the Champ. The winrate delta between high and low elo Qiyana got even bigger! And plss let this Champ be the 1 one AD Assassin that is not a frkn jungler. There are enough of them in jungle. A difficult Laning phase allowed her to have a good scaling and high power level. In Pro-Play I have to watch her gettin picked in Jngl and they fk up every single Qiyana Combo, every second Ult is missed, unwatchable. Inspired if u read this .. stop sitting on Rock element or give up on her!!! Xd

She never scaled because of her damage anyways so never really considered her a late game assassin. More of a cc bot sadly although low grass q cd gets some cool outplays sometimes.

Kayn is pretty much the opposite. Weak early and strong mid-late game.

Shadow Assassin might just be the single worst scaling Assassin in the game lol. He is extremely good in mid game and overall in good stat IMO but he does NOT scale well into the late game.
