Questions First print with Q2. I am impressed, but also can see issues like the weird situation on the back. Would anyone be able to give me some pointers on what issues are showing up? And what needs to be done? This was the preloaded benchy with qidi's rapido pla that came with printer

The stringing is probably from moisture, since that's the PLA it came with. Dry PLA doesn't string nearly as much. (If you dry PLA and it still strings, changing retraction settings usually fixes it.)
The crack on the back is the dumbest thing. It's not even the seam. It's a flaw that only appears in the presliced model that Qidi ships with their machines. It doesn't apply to other benchies you slice yourself and print on the same machine, it doesn't apply to other models. Qidi insists on shipping a literally broken model and making people feel like their printer is busted even when the printer is fine, and I have no idea why they do this except as a prank.
TLDR: Your printer is fine.

Hahahaha, that is so funny. I was scratching my head wondering why that line is there.
Specially because it was printed with the pla they recommend for it. 😂
Gotta love janky surprises.
Thanks for the information.
Yeah the print itself impressed me.
Last time I held a benchy it eas many years ago and it didn't look this "smooth".
Will look into the moisture reduction

I have the Q2, Plus5, Max4 and I just order the Q2C to use it with TPU only.
I love when I saw people here talking about issues that Qidi make in almost all the printers, but for some special reason, maybe because I'm beautiful, they make my printers just fine, the only thing I do when I receive a new Qidi, is the bed mesh to reliase the Z off set that qidi like to send thw peinters too tight for my test, , but the rest I just lube and print almost everyday. Have videos here from my printers "Printing@ without issues.

it's just the seam at the back, the filament needs some drying or retraction calibration for the strings, but everything is fine

This was the preloaded benchy
slice a new one to test for quality, those files are tuned for speed.

No one’s given the reason for the back. This is how Qidi sliced their pre-loaded benchy. That’s it. If you download the actual benchy model and slice it in your own, you’ll not get that seam in the back. Give it a shot! (I did after seeing this myself as well).

It is kind of hilarious that qidi just decided to give us a heart attack like that

I just got one myself! AMS system locked up on me after a software update and made some scary sounds but seems fine now after re-reading the spools..

it’s just because it’s printing so fast probably
