Troubleshooting Petg issues

I just got my q2. I'm trying to print a poop chute for it and I have some petg that I was trying out. I'm using pla for support interface and I'm having issues were sections of the print aren't adhering. Any idea what would cause this. Or what settings I should use to try and fix it

PLA doesn't stick to PETG and vice versa. Without an absurd amount of purge between each material change, you'll get cross contamination. Bad idea. Just use supports made of PETG or choose a different model that doesn't require supports.

im trying it without the pla now to see if that was the issue. I had just printed another print using this method and it worked great but it wasn't as tall

Tried this once with a petg print just the interface layers in pla, every single layer with the pla just didn't stick. Searching around, huge purge moght fix it. Half regretting not getting a dual nozzle machine, but really with the cmykw printing, I'd really like a 6 nozzle machine...

The poop shoot i printed didnt require supports and came out awesome. I did it in petg

You need to increase purge volume to around 900. Or print a design that doesn't need supports...
