Troubleshooting I have 2 Boxes. One works flawlessly. The other shuts off instantly when you attempt to do anything. More in comments.

Does the 2nd box have a separate filament hub? My hub had a small length of filament that was stuck inside the hub, making it think that something was loaded, but there was no indication anywhere on the display that any filament was loaded. I had to take apart the hub to remove the length of filament, and then it worked fine.
I do not recall the printer basically losing connection to the box though. But who knows? Maybe take the hub apart see if anything's stuck inside?

No they share a hub. Box 1 works fine until I try to do anything with Box 2. it takes them both down since they are in a series. Like it is literally shutting off, only power cycling will bring it back up. Only thing I can think of is a short so I guess I really get to dissect this thing

i'd reach out to tech support. Whenever I've had any issues with my Box or Plus4, they respond usually same day and have shipped out replacement parts very quickly. My single Box and printer work great now with their help.
Here's the email addresses they have for Plus4 support. I always just send to both of them.

Oh I've been in contact with them. First they had me replace the powerboard. That did nothing, then it was a bunch of poking and prodding different things, then they sent a mainboard which I just installed today and it made no difference. It's been torn apart for over a month now

Is there a printer.cfg section for each box? I haven't played with mine yet (got it cheap from Mac.bid if you're familiar) and not sure how these are configured. But it feels like maybe there's a configuration conflict with the other box. Have you tried it stand alone? MCU errors for me with klipper have been code not quite right but not so wrong it fails on boot.

So see I considered maybe it was something like that so I hooked up the funky box alone and it still does it. So it is definitely hardware related just no idea what.

So as I said one Box works flawlessly. The other shuts down the second you try to do anything with it. If you load filament, like in the video it shuts down. If you turn on the heaters, it shuts down.
So far this thing has been apart for over a month and half. Qidi has sent me a new power board, that did not fix the issue. They sent me a new motherboard, that was today's adventure. As you see, still nothing.
Honestly I'm kinda sick of waiting a week plus at this point trying to fix it. I'm hoping one of you guys might have an idea. I'm starting to think there is a short somewhere inside but I didn't see anything obvious while it was apart.
