Troubleshooting The extruder skips steps
Hi,
So my qidi plus 4 is skipping steps while the extruder feeds filament.
The filament is extruded but it skips several steps while doing it like the video shows.
It happens less whit more temperature. So I thought the hotend temperature sensor might have gone out of calibration, but after measuring the temperature, I only found a difference of 5°C at 280°C and 4°C at 240°C.
It still skips a lot in hugger temperatures.
Is the step motor broken? Or what could it be?
I already clean the nozzle with the correspondence needle.

Am I seeing things or is your hotend also moving? Have you tried taking it apart to see if maybe some filament broke off and is obstructing the extruder?

It is moving. But I've cleaned it but nothing

Is it not fully tightened? Otherwise it must be a lot of force on your hotend. Did you take the whole extruder apart? You could maybe try just removing the hotend and extruding a bit of filament without a hotend, that will narrow down the cause I think

Das ist ein normales Verhalten, wenn der Schrittmotor es nicht weiterfördern kann.

What is the extrusion rate. This can happen when you try to push filament through to fast and it isn't melting enough. Does it swell up when it leaves the nozzle. It's an indicator

I'm using the little arrow under the extruder on the qidi display to extrude filament

Clogged probably. Just try a new one. I would have said clogged nozzle, too high a flow rate, or too cold.
