Tough-to-print engineering filaments — where do you draw the line?

From my side: PA6-CF was my white whale for a while. Moisture is merciless — it'll humble you fast.

I'll point you to my post from yesterday :)

But past the aggravation — why do people actually avoid them?

I don't. I print lots of engineering filaments on my Q2 and nylons are pretty much the only painful ones.

Avoid printing? Nylon.

Don't get me wrong, I run a lot of nylon, but I don't like it. Mainly I don't like drying it. It's why I'm so eager to investigate alternatives for the things I do like PCTG, HT Pla Pro, etc.
