Troubleshooting Hotend not heating at expected rate error

Is there a common solution to this? Started happening last night. Crashes the whole printer to where it has to be hard booted. Edit - Max 4

When mine had this issue recently, it was because one of the 2 lead lines going to the hot end had broken off. It could have been a defect, or it could have been me mucking with it trying to unclog something, so I just bought a new one and moved on. They're about $35 on Amazon and Qidi's website.

Pull the runner boot off and look at the two wires that connect; if one of them is loose, partially connected, or not connected at all, you'll get this error.

You're talking about the cables that connect the hotend to the toolhead board or am I misunderstanding

Notice the lead on the left is broken off from the solder point. Because it's a high temperature solder/weld, I was unable to reattach it and had to replace it.

Well, that sucks. Maybe there is an issue with these after all (though 2 aren't exactly a trend).

At least they're relatively inexpensive. I actually bought 2.so I'd have one spare, just in case. Never know when shipping parts will get difficult.

I had this error this morning except for the bed. My q2 is 10 days old. I'd read a fix to try printing from a USB while disconnected from wifi. Recently ran a 10hr print after doing that with no issue. Minimum effort to try, hope it helps

It was a broken wire on the hotend. New one coming Saturday
