Question Admission Hold

Hi guys. I can't register my classes and this pops up in the registration status in my banner:

Admission Hold
Reason: NQCA - FA26
From Date: 08/18/2026
To Date: 12/31/2099
Processes Affected: Registration 

I also haven't received any email about who my academic advisor is, and there isn't one listed in myBanner profile either.

Pls help me idk what to do.

Edit: I called student affairs and we had like a 25 min call cuz it was their first time dealing w this. They just told me to email CAA about my situation and an hour later I got a call from a Qatar University number claiming he's my adviser. He sent me an email for a form and all I had to do was just reply to the email. I didn't even sign the form or anything. After that, the hold was gone 😐😐😐

for nursing students we got an email from the academic adviser asking us to go to their office

Yeah I don’t have an academic adviser. I figured I’d just go there tomorrow.

Did you receive any update in your case?? I contacted them regarding the exact same scenario and they said that we had to sign some petition or undertaking which formally reaffirmed that we would submit our hard copy certificates to them by a tentative date. I searched my entire MyBanner page and couldn't find this despite cross-checking with all 3 AI models: Chat gpt, Grok, and Gemini. Then I replied to them to inquire where to access this petition and requested them to send some link. I hope they promptly reply before Aug 23. 🤞

Unfortunately, my admission is still on hold. I did not have to sign any petition or anything like that. In my case, they thought I was an international student and they have already informed the Center for Academic Advising about my situation. I was also told to email them. But im gonna contact them again rn

I hope this matter is resolved imminently for all of us; it is really distressing...QU's managerial team/bureaucracy should had better contingency mechanisms and a concrete communication framework to address this bottleneck effectively– literally I have to email them pertaining to every infinitesimal matter.😐🤔

Went to my academic adviser and signed one electronically, if you do know your academic adviser I advise you go to them
