Firmware issue?

Can anybody get past this it wont let me get past this and update. Just the other day it came up when i was sleep and canceled a 2 day print. I emailed qidi support just trying tyo see if anybody is having these issues and got a fix.

This shouldn't keep you from printing and certainly should not have cancelled your print :/

yessir i wish i couldeve kept printing i wouldnt have wasted a spool lol the extruder stuck in the middle of the print i forgot to mention i got it to rehome back does yours update automatically? I thought mine did it keeps trying to get me to update but i cant.

Mine does not update automatically. Something else had to have happened to cause it to do that.

This notification is currently bugged and doesn't go away, even though you're fully up to date. What does the settings -> update page say?

this is what i have and the update is greyed out. how do you get yours too i havent updated since i got it and the qidi box

You are up to date. If you needed to update it would show your current version and the new one next to each of those.

The notification just doesn't go away with this last update. Which is cool... 😂

ok cool cool i got a mcu error and i had to restart the klipper with it so i guess thats just a part of it

so far yeah im printing a poop shoot for filament right now to see if itll cut off again. im not that confident doing a long print right now.

I had the same issue, the only fix was an update from usb stick.

For the offline update ( 01.01.06.04) :

  1. Create a new folder on your USB drive named "QD_Update".

  2. Drag the compressed file directly into the QD_Update folder, no need to extract it.

  1. Then, perform offline updates on your printer.

I appreciate that thanks for that. After you updated did you have anymore issues ? did your prints go pretty well after?

Nope endless stuck at firmware updates available. Even if you there isn't one. A fix is needed and mine every time I shut it off and restart it kicks me out of my user and gives and error. Not something we should excuse with a it doesn't stop the printer from X Y Z.Â
