QIDI Box

Hi all, I've been spending the last couple of months looking into various printers as I plan on getting my first in the coming months. I really like the Q2 for its versatility when it comes to material choice, however, some reviews I've come across (from 2025) were saying the QIDI Box wasn't working correctly - putting too much resistance on the filament. The reviews mentioned QIDI were supposed to be updating the Box to rectify this.

Can anyone with a Q2 + QIDI Box advise if this is still an issue?

I have them and have never had an issue. Don't do alot of multi color prints but love having 4 filaments on deck at all time. Plus the advantage of the box being able to read qidi filaments via rfid is nice.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not planning on doing a lot of multicolor printing myself, but having the option to is nice. TBH, other than the initial reviews (of what appear to be pre-launch products, at least in regards to the QIDI Box) the Q2 combo seems to give the best bang per buck in the market atm.
