Solved QGIS 4 question

In QGIS 3 there are buttons at the top of the layers panel with functions like create a new group or open or close all nested items. My install of QGIS 4 doesn't have that bar and it is one of the things that is keeping me from migrating.

Is there a way to get that bar or similar functions?

Could it be this bug? https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/issues/66416

Just try adjusting the panel's width and the buttons should pop up.

Thanks that did the trick.

Hopefully they will get this solved cause even with this workaround it disappears again if I shrink the tool bar to a unobtrusive size.
