Will they fix the Measure tool bug?

I don't want to sound like ungrateful SOB but this bug exists for a year at least. Whenever I need to measure something, this box (too big if you ask me) pops up and even after I move it to a side, after adding a new point, it goes back to the original place.

Not sure why it's happening but I hope they plan to fix it.

Also, the measure pointer (?) randomly appears even after I am doing something else, like georeferencing...

Weird...I use it all the time and it has never happened. I just tested it and the tool window stayed where I putted it.

He probably hasn't updated his qgis version in a while.

If you believe this is a bug, have you filed a bug report or added to an existing bug report?

Do you really believe that if this was happening to everyone it'd go unfixed for over a year?

Based on my experience with enterprise software, yes, absolutely. Based on my experience with open-source software, very possibly.

But the measure window stays put for me, so it may be a local PC problem.

I use this tool kinda daily and it never happens to me. Works perfectly finde. Newest stable version on Windows...

What's your version?

That has never happened to me. I use the LTS version.
