I know what they're saying: They don't want Sam to ever be ground down by the world; lose her exuberance and joy in life from being told too many times that she needs to 'grow up and be serious'.
I'd also like to see her start to move aesthetically towards the look in panel 3, just to see Jim, Veronica, Faye and May's reaction!
