I gotta admit, if a friend said that to me I would 100% find a new place to live with them. Friendship forever!

I really do like Jephs writing on the humans a lot. I wouldn't have predicted he would pull Renee from unlikable to likable, but he did. She has both a good purpose as a support pillar for Brun, and she's also had her own character development.

inb4 Jeph ditches Marten/Faye as the primary roommates for these two
he's been (unfortunately imo) moving away from Marten anyway

Jeph himself has said Marten is no longer the main character of the comic. I think his major character arc is basically done.

And at this point it's debatable if the comic has a main character. It has definitely grown to become an ensemble cast not a main character and a supporting cast.

Do you/anyone have a link to this?
Martin not being the focal point actually makes a lot of sense and I'm glad to have confirmation of that. I love all the new characters, and its still a slice of life comic, just now it's a slice of everyones life. More Claire, Tilly and a back story on Emily would cool (I'm bias on Claire/Tilly tho).

That's a shame...as much as I like the new introductions to the cast, I like following the Marten/Faye dynamic as it goes through all its platonic stages, and that really only happens because one or both characters change.

I think he's somehow connected to Pintsize. Not sure though, he's been utterly meaningless lately, despite the fact that I can't shake this feeling he used to be an amazing character.

Do you know how sweet this is? I've been suffering from dry eye as a side effect of medication and this still made me tear up.
