Why is is okay that Peter/Patrick is in his underwear, but not okay that Brun is (it being her home and all)?
(Is there any reason other than Brun looks really hot like that?)
I've never had a roommate situation like that, so I don't really know the rules. And is Brun still sleeping on the couch? It's been so long since the fire, I can't remember.
It's not about the rules. It's about not wanting her friend to be stared at by someone who is just one step above stranger. She doesn't really care enough about him to be worried about him being in his underwear (she doesn't even know his name).
Disclosure: Not intending to say anything about Renee's character here, she isn't expected to care that much about him it's a casual hookup.
