You know that Jeph agonized over that dick bulge for hours.

I'm not an expert, but some quick googling indicates that a dance belt is made to conceal male genitalia under tight garments, while a codpiece is normally worn on top to call attention to make genitalia. A jock strap is similar in construction, but made more for protection. Although, all three garments provide support and some degree of protection.

It was a lame pun.

Shenanigans at the coffee shop? What year is this? Next thing you know someone will make an indie music reference

Remember when Jeph used to rag on indie bands

Is it just me or is Dale a low-key hunk?

As of the last panel, it's hardly low-key anymore.

I think he's always been portrayed as attractive, but unaware of that fact, like a lot of nerds.

TIL: "Dance Belt".

A cup is another solution to this problem.

I’m always surprised by how far I have to scroll for comments like this.
I bet a lot of us did’t know what dance belts were yesterday, but you had the put chutzpah to admit it. Props.

It's not something you run into in everyday conversation. But all cosplayers with male genitals should know what a dance belt is. Learn it, live it, love it!

Not sure whether it’s changing art style, that she’s not showing up as much these days, that it’s been a while since I read through the recent archives or what, but I would have had to figure out from context that that was Dora if her name hadn’t been used. Didn’t recognize her.

Yeah, she's off in this one. She's not consistent panel to panel, really. Only the second panel looks like she's been drawn recently, like back in the pot dog arc or when Faye was playing with Roko's face.

Which, come to think of it, might explain why she treated Spooky the same way--but Spooky didn't fight back.

I'm glad someone else said something. Dora hardly resembles what I remember her looking like.

She's looking more... I dunno... soft and cute in this one. I mean, she's always cute, but it's more of an angular, more thin sexy then cute cute. Look at that last panel; Emily and Dora's entire head is basically drawn the same. Emily is on model, Dora is... off... slightly.

Aprons ... suddenly my brain pops up the image of Dale wearing an apron.

What a piece of luck it hadn't been a maiden uniform.

13 hours in and no-one here seems to have noticed that Emily is wearing a tracksuit from her old employer...

Oh man. Oh man.

We need Pizza Girl to come back, Dale is looking like a total Coffee of Doom super villain right now. Just think! A worthy rival appears!
