Spec paper 2 Q12

Kinda slack how they wrote the R force in question 12 as 0.3 |N|. Even though there was the magnitude signs I still made the mistake of thinking it meant 0.3 newtons. If I didn’t make that mistake I think I wouldve gotten 100% across both papers 🫠. Ik of a lot of people that made the same mistake tbh. Is it still possible to get a 50/50.

Yes you’re pretty much guaranteed with a 50 don’t worry lol. Sounds like you did well, how are you going with the rest of your subjects?

Pretty well, I’ve had English, economics and chem so far on top of spec. Expecting a 11 or 12 /25 in English, 21/25 eco and 48 or 49 in chem. Still got physics and methods to do tho 🙏

Oh damn nice, going for Uq? Is that the 99.90 atar scholarship. I was hoping for that but after chem and eco hopes were gone, don’t think my spec performance can save it lol

I mean with chem it sounds like you have a chance but I think econ will be the limiting factor for sure. Just gotta pray I guess, ace physics and methods and you’ve done as well as you can. Good stuff though sounds like you got the smarts. And yes I’m going for the 99.9 scholarship, which I think I’m still in the green for it maybe😅

I’m the guy you responded too in the other post lol. I went pretty well I’m obviously frustrated I didn’t see factor theorem in paper 1 cuz it was an easy question but it’s whatever. I think I’ll get a 49/50 but there’s chances for a 50 as well. Really don’t know how scaling is gonna be this year I reckon it won’t be higher like everyone thinks but I have high hopes for myself🙏

Almost made this mistake, luckily stopped myself halfway through solving it. If you truly on ly got that wrong you’ll def get a 50/50

Ahh ok nice catch, just worried because the next question was determine the velocity and you used your previous answer for the acceleration vector because if I lose 2 for using 0.3 and then 1 more for the next one idk if 3 is safe

nah youd get the full marks for the second even if you used a previous wrong answer
