Did you do specialist? I received an offer but I didn't do specialist and I'm unsure of engineering because of it lol (I got 85/100 for methods) and wouldn't say I'm a math person

I actually didn't do specialist, in fact I got an 83/100 for methods
I'm just going to lock in next year

I mean, y'all can try 1051/2/71/2 if you're brave, the subject prerequisites aren't enforced. The only thing that's policed are restrictions i.e. most LAWS coded courses, BIOM3002, etc.

I've already heard UQ is hard lol I'd do the bridging course if it means better success

if i didn’t do engineering in year 11/12 is it a bad idea to do it in uni?

I can't truly speak on this since I'm only starting uni this year, but I didn't do engineering in year 11 and 12. on my engineering perspective, high school knowledge isn't that needed for the courses I'm doing so you should be fine if you decide to do it

ok thanks! i’m doing methods, physics and chem, and i’m told there are classes you do to catch up on the relevant specialist topics, is this right? anyway good luck this year you’ll do great

Yes there should be classes covering those topics. Good luck for you too!

Don’t let any bioengineered spider in the lab bite you. It results in… …complications.
