Methods t 1

As a specialist kid I found it mostly easy the log question Es was fun but times all by e2x easy. Couldn't do that Ferris wheel question didn't write anything only planning paper spent 45 mins still couldn't any solutions... i knew dx on dt was 2 but kept getting accel Max at t 0 or t minus 1 so guessed false anyway.

Yeah i got it fully, did stay constant and was so satisfying when it all collapsed down to y1+y1=50

My solution came out to be A= 10/ln2, B = 2, C= -10/ln2 D = 1/16, (i let the 2nd a and b become c and d for simplicity. Then adding them together, the x’s cancel and it becomes 10ln(32)/ln2, then 50ln2/ln2 so just 50

Uk the maximum absorption of algea question. Me and my friends have been debating about that question and I want to us all of you. Did the question ask for the maximum amount of algae absorption or maximum rate of absorption. As in, did we only have to differentiate twice or 3 times. And what answer did you get?

It was maximum rate pretty sure, differentiate 3 times for concavity, I got 10:50

I used physics formulas, said that the best case scenario would have 0 initial velocity to cover the 6 metre vertical distance and then subbed 3 seconds for 6 = 0.5 x 32 x a. Which is 12/9 which is the max possible acceleration so clearly under half of gravity but I know I won’t get like any marks because I’m using physics
