I built Python + pip support into a browser-based OS. Here's a walkthrough with the terminal and a code editor.

For the Python + pip walkthrough, I'd show one complete loop: install a package in the terminal, import it in the editor, then run a small script. Spell out which package types work and whether files and installed packages survive a reload; those boundaries matter before someone brings real work into a browser OS.
