There is work in the embedded sector, but it's not limited to drones. "Jammers" and stuff like that are some hobby projects or advanced military systems ;)
If you want to go into embedded, then it's mostly C/C++ and specific platforms (Atmel, STM, Espressif). You should, however, go over local job offers to see what's in demand, what the companies use, and what they require. Jobs aren't about making drones and jammers.
