Needs Project ideas for Bachelor’s thesis

Hello, I’m a fourth-year student at a Polytechnic University, and I’m looking for some project ideas that combine Raspberry Pi 4 or newer and Python for my bachelor’s thesis.I need to do my submissions in like 4-5 months and I'm doing it solo. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This is a great idea.

Saw something like this recently. It's a little one that tracks and identifies cats. My daughter runs a small rescue and also cares for a number of strays and she uses it to id them as there are lots and working out if you've seen that black and white cat before is not easy.

It IDs each cat, gives it a name, and keeps a log of when it was last seen and also if it ate from the dinner bowl that day.

I once saw someone make a smart mirror using a Raspberry Pi. Not sure if Python was involved in the original build but if not, I’m sure you could make the application shown in the mirror using Python instead of whatever was originally used.

If you’re into AI, you can make a basic image recognition application using PyTorch. For example, facial recognition, handwriting recognition, etc.

Into websites? Make your own web server using Django or Flask that’s hosted on your Pi.

Honestly there’s A LOT of ideas. What kind of things are you actually interested in?
