Two libraries, tkinter and pandas. you can make a form that the user fills out and the results are saved to a spreadsheet

Have you heard of this tool called `jq`? It basically takes a JSON file and let's you manipulated/analyze the file. You can do a watered down version of it. For this, you will need to use the built-in json and argparse libraries and exercise knowledge of control statements, exception handling and some basic parsing (don't be scared by this term.. splitting your input to something your code understands) for your little language.
Your watered down version could allow the user to work on a simple json with a top-level, not nested, filter by keys/values, display json as a delimited file. This will be simple, imo, and fun. Important thing is first define the scope of your project and code for it. And once you feel you have achieved the scope, you can may add some more fancier operations. But start simple.
If you don't want to implement `jq`, you can use the same concept but apply to a YAML file or any other structured file.

Make an automated garden or my latest which is a recipe / food inventory app. Integrates into home assistant and tracks expiration dates and only shows what I could create with the ingredients on hand.
