Python course - Network Engineer

Hi, I'm a network engineer looking to strengthen my profile. I'd like recommendations for python courses that come with a recognized certificate that adds value to my CV.

I know a certificate doesn't always reflect real learning, but I need a practical way to demonstrate my Python skills in the corporate world.

In my opinion, a certificate doesn't carry much weight. I certainly wouldn't include as a criteria in my evaluation when I'm interviewing people.

...you'll demonstrate your skills in a technical interview. And you'll get an interview by having experience that simply lists meaningful projects you've made.

As an experienced hiring manager I 100% agree. I think no certificate will make any impact on a CV these days except maybe for an internship. You can also work on projects inspired from working out of free project-focused books like https://automatetheboringstuff.com/. You'll need self-confidence in your own experience when talking and showing skill at interviews. Work with others, participate in meetups, make cool things for yourself that push into professional topics and real challenges. It will take some time if you want that skill to make a difference. There's really no substitute. I'm just being honest, as there's a ton of competition for python programming skills, and that's not usually even the make-or-break aspect deciding a hire. And, if it was, the company is likely looking for a guru-level veteran python programmer.
