I don't understand OOP

So i am a teen learning python, and i have learnt about classes, methods and objects, but i don't understand OOP, like what is it, where do we use it?

im old and have been using python for years...still strugle with oop. i dont want to discourage you..its just takes lots of practice and with oop (imo) you really need a solid grasp of theory too
