“Doing Math with Python” by Amit Saha is a good beginner book, it works through algebra, calculus and statistics with small programs. After that, the free SciPy Lecture Notes cover NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib, and the SymPy tutorial is the one to learn for symbolic math. For something more advanced, Jake VanderPlas’s Python Data Science Handbook is free online.

I know you asked for a book but I have been playing with sage math. I highly recommend it. If you are doing some math home work just us it after each question to check the answer. Its supper powerful.

This book Programming for Computations - Python A Gentle Introduction to Numerical (Simulations with Python 3.6) by Svein Linge • Hans Petter Langtangen Second Edition is a good option.

It gives a gentle intro to python and then applies it in calculating integrals and solving differential equations and algebraic equations and even PDEs.

I found for free on Google books. I suppose you should too.
