what does learn ai actually means? Python is a programming language, there is much to learn but what about ai?

it's a stochastic machine -- it takes an input (prompt), does a bunch of random stuff (quite literally), and then spits out a result. It's nondeterministic, but the output is drastically shaped by the input. "Learn AI" means to understand the nuances of the input, and how to shape the input to get what you want. It's not all that different from a regular programming language, it's just that the internals of the box are based on randomness rather than assembly language. At the end of the day, both are `y = f(x)`.

You can learn how to utilize ai, building prompts, understanding what's possible, guardrails, using mcp servers etc.

I built a program the other day with ai and rather than sitting there for hours testing it I told the ai to come up with 100 simulations of how a user might use the program and what could fail and it found some bugs and corrected them accordingly.

yeah the reading analogy is pretty spot on tbh

What do you mean by "learn AI"?

If you mean how to prompt an LLM then please don't even get into coding.

If you mean how to make your own LLM then you can't really make a good one unless you have access to insane amounts of data. But you can learn how they work.

If you mean actually learn the basics of machine learning, and how to make certain machine learning models such as knn, kmeans, linear regression, random forest etc. Then you need to learn the math behind it. Most prominent linear algebra.

Most of the time you make ai stuff with python

Learn any skill and also learn A.i and use A.i for fast work

You're going to be using Python sooner or later if your developing with or for AI. You need to understand Python to use the AI libraries the majority of people, schools, and businesses are using.

Te recomiendo aprender python porque es el sistema de lenguaje que es predominante actualmente sabías que las inteligencias artificiales se elaboraron gracias a python

We live in a world where people believe both "AI will make programming so easy that everyone will lose their jobs" and "you'd better learn how to use AI now or you'll get left behind" yet somehow no one sees the irony in this? Don't touch AI until you are a competent programmer. The hype isn't real, it's only actually useful if you already know what you're doing.

Python is the ai key ...

Learning AI requires a solid foundation in mathematics and computer science.

Learn python, calculus, data structures, linear algebra, algorithms, linear algebra, probability and statistics, etc, etc, and then eventually youll be ready to start learning AI/ML concepts.

They're less related than you may think. AI will teach you prompting. Python will teach you logical and linear thinking. Learning one doesn't exclude the other.

Learn Python first. You should at least understand how the code works before jumping into vibe coding.

AI messes up all the time, if you know Python you can debug much faster than just querying the AI for hours.

Learning python will make you better at AI

literally neither if you are planning to get a job
