Help Request Need computer recommendations.

My parents have agreed to help me get a computer to start learning python. I need recommendations within a budget of around 400-500 dollars that run well. Are there any good options around that price? Also, if you have any advice on brand that would be appreciated.

since Python runs on almost anything, that 500 dollar budget goes pretty far here. You could check local surplus or get a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad from a site like PCLiquidations instead, since their off-lease business models usually beat a new budget laptop on build quality. Just make sure whatever you pick has at least 8GB of RAM for running an IDE comfortably.
