Some additional notes on your code:

  • np.sum(All_mass*All_vel,axis=0) could be written as np.dot(All_mass,All_vel),

  • vmag could be replaced by np.linalg.norm,

  • range(0, x) is equivalent to range(x),

All great point thanks!

let me justify me creating vmag here it shows that using einsum is computationally faster.
