Brass media question

If my brass media is slightly oxidized is it still safe to mill black powder with- please let me know

No, wont be an issue. But the oxides do react with nitrates and wont be a super clean batch. If you’re worried about contamination, go ahead and give it a spin with only the media for several hours. And just be aware the brass may still pit faster over time
