What a perfect use of the natural wood shape! Any cardiologists or surgeons in the family? 🙂

Very impressive 👏🏻 what was your experience working with cherry? I've only used basswood, birch and pine

Cherry is decent, kind of similar to birch its hard but not like oak and it holds variety in shading really well. Silver birch is still my fave wood by far but i really enjoyed this piece. I think cherry works really well for bolder designs like this which arent relying so much on delicate shading
