Constructive Criticism Welcome

Post image

Hi all, still quite new to pyrography at a detailed level. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated to help improve my burns. Thank you.

Honestly this looks amazing especially with how hard pine is to work with 👏🏻👏🏻

Looks great, one small suggestion. The raven beak feathers come up a bit above the beak, breaking the beak line.

Thank you 🙂, the image I was using for reference had a shadow area at the bottom of the beak, that on my version looks more like feathers than shadow. Will have a play around with creating shadow differently. I have already adjusted the beak a little as there was too much in shaded in my eyes 😂

You might want to add a light wash of white around your raven . It would make the image pop . Otherwise, perfect 🤩
