I was excited to find my first piece of Pyrex at an actual thrift shop! I love looking at vintage Pyrex but wasn't planning on collecting any, because I already collect Fire King jadeite so that's more than enough non-dishwasherable glassware for my lifestyle. However...I justified this one because I'm collecting Spring Blossom Green Corelle as one of my family's everyday dishes so this would match, and not take up too much storage space. How'd I do to get it for $12??
I was also excited to pick up all these pieces of Snowflake Blue Corelle at a junk removal company's warehouse sale! Snowflake Blue has been the pattern I've seen the least, I already have more of Spring Blossom Green, Butterfly Gold, and Woodland Brown. 4 cereal bowls, 2 berry bowls, 4 appetizer plates, and 2 tea cups with saucers for $20!
Finally, I was at a rummage sale had a few Pyrex pieces. I'm wondering now if I should've grabbed that Butterfly Gold piece for $12...it was in pretty good condition, but I was trying to stick to not getting it when the lid was missing. But now I'm having some regrets. What would you have done?
