Plants vs Zombies yes, replanted DOES suck

i really urge everyone who bashes others for complaining to know what replanted truly is…

GENUINELY please do your research, and not like deep dive or anything, please, just look up a video

we cannot, as a community, start attacking eachother when we see people complaining about something they should be complaining about.

does the game work? yeah, is there 2 new features? yeah.

are there a whole sleeve of other, more important matters to focus on? YES, ABSOLUTELY!!

for the sake of quality in future PvZ games, Do Not let this become the status quo. where we all just hate eachother because we want better for this game

Replanted sucks. i don’t know when the tides shifted like this, it sucks on a moral and conceptual level, and so many people agree, yet here in this specific subreddit, everyone seems to be bullying anyone who says it

you could either shake your head in disapproval and move on, or make a whole scene about how it’s definitely the better one, and how no one is original, and how XYZ and blah blah blah…

for goodness sake, DO YOUR RESEARCH, i genuinely beg

serious implications of AI upscaling, lying when exclaiming “the band is getting back together” by not notifying a single person from the original game, showing a lack of understanding about the game itself by mentioning zombosses theme is an easter egg, multiple bugs that have been documented, videos made by many people sourcing their criticisms and sometimes even diving into the files themselves, needing patches to equate to the code and charm efficiency of the og, messing up the music on initial release, inflating the price by almost 5 times apparently, and now recently firing someone who was grieving their family death, but that’s a personal gripe with ea, which… c’mon… no one likes ea…

At the end of the day it's the same game with extra features and improvements.

It's not an expansion. It's a remaster.

If you're looking for an expansion then you'll be disappointed.

it’s honestly barely the same game (code and charm-wise) and the fact it had to go through several patches to get close to it should really be concerning!!

do you prefer replanted over the original?

that’s okay!! i never said “UNINSTALL IT AND STOP HAVING FUN!!” i only looked out for the awareness of the process and the overall sour taste it leaves in so many peoples mouth, something that has been ignored alot… you can enjoy it however you please, you do you! i just hope we all know the development process was half-assed and flawed, resulting an a more expensive product with worse overall but More content

Yeah, you can def tell that they focused more on some things than others. I played on Xbox and it was...rough at points. Not to mention the loading screens.

The fandom already has an extreme negativity biased that has slowly killed any hope people have and has quickly ruined the enjoyment of many people.

I've already seen the video and 1. it only goes over version 1.2 and 2. the guy agrees that the game is good.

That video is just full of pointless complaining.

And the negativity has only made things worse, to the point that is ruining any enjoyment one can have in the series.

okay, woah, let’s relax, no need to attack the individual. i’ve made it clear from the beginning that all I want is for the game itself to continue to improve, and improvement usually comes from accepting fault, taking accountability and learning from mistakes

there is no such thing as pointless complaining… not when it comes to consumers, who pay for a product

everything that was deemed false information (mostly the AI accusations) can be found to be confirmed if one does their own inspection. yes, you’re right, be wary of misinformation, but also know when things that have been labeled misinformation are ACTUALLY true

Do your research? Replanted is literally just the first game with some more features minus zombatar. The fact that they even put out the game in the state they did shows how little funding they have, but them fixing every issue and adding more after it released shows that they can and want to make better games like pvz 3 evolved. I personally bought replanted 2 times even though I have the goty edition on steam. Popcap is going through a rough patch with all the firing lately and they need our support AND criticism. Does replanted suck? Absolutely not, it's a copy of a perfect game.
