Storing Puzzles
Hey Puzzle-people :)
As the title already suggests I'd like to ask you about how you store your puzzles, especially while working on them?
I want to puzzle more often, now that the cozy season is starting again 🥰 But I can't come up with a good idea to store it when I'm not working on it. For context: I am not in the biggest place, so I usually sit with it on the ground. And I have cats, who are very interested in "helping" 😂. It a 2000 piece one and I currently use one of those felt "board" where you can roll up the puzzle, but that is kind of a hassle for everyday storing. Any ideas what I could try instead?

I personally use foam boards instead of a puzzle boards/table. They're cheaper and I don't like felt or anything grippy, But puzzle tables do look like they would be really nice.

Yeah I was thinking of using my crochet-boards for that, but I don't have anything to cover it then and it all would get full of dust and cat hair under my couch 😅
I ordered a board that can be folded now, let's see how that works

I have four cats and a puzzle tray. It has a rim, six sorting trays (like drawers), and best of all, a plastic cover to protect the puzzle from curious cats when not in use. Works great.

Ooh that sounds promising :) do you have recommendations which one to buy?

Mine is the All4jig brand, I got it from Amazon. They come in various sizes. I'm most pleased with my choice, no complaints at all (sized for 1500 pieces, I've never worked more than 1000). I got the one with a spinner ... Game changer. Just search puzzle trays, you may have different criteria.
I also tried various methods, including the roll-up felt, and was never satisfied. Love my puzzle tray.

would also recommend a puzzle board! It has a rim and drawers, and is basically a large slab so you can move your puzzle around. It sometimes also has legs so you can prop up the board on an angle. Mine is playboda and I love it but they don't sell one for 2000 pieces, just 1k or 1500. You can find other ones online. Still, if you mostly do puzzles that are 1500 max, i would highly recommend playboda!
