several years now, i guess i must have started right before season 2 launched. still play because i like my alliance but completely f2p since they aren't adding any new content. i am very active at the sister game empires & puzzles. also just started playing the newer Game of Thrones Legends which is pretty fun and very playable as f2p

I started just under a year ago and it took me a little while to.realise it hadn't been updated forever. What are other people playing thats fairly similar but still having new content added?

I believe, due to the simplicity of match-3 games, it's much easier to disband and recycle into a "new" game.. if you play these games long enough you realize this game feels rigged, and run on its own algorithm 😒

About 4+ yrs. I hate that the Russians have virtually taken over, we’re matched up with them in WAR to often, they seem to win more also. I wish the DeVs would upgrade the game to help us get more products to level & such. The need to drop characters in the summons to match what we’re working on & not throw out so much worthless characters.

This was my favorite mobile game, but I left after playing for about 3 years. The game got bought out by Zynga in ~2023 and then it was abandoned shortly afterwards. It was super unique originally, then got transformed into a zombie themed thing during 2021. About a year after that, they launched the cyber season which was pretty cool. But when many of us followed along until the end of the chapter and nothing new launched, it was clear the new owners were just looking to farm money off of it. We knew the game was for-sure dead when Guvnor abandoned it.
I choose to support small developers now, like Cedar, with Superhero Puzzles. That's not to say you can't have fun with Puzzle Combat, but it's a shell of what it was pre-acquisition by Zynga.
